Counseling and Psychotherapy Services
I offer both brief and long-term counseling and psychotherapy services depending on the nature of your concerns, your circumstances, and your interest. I primarily work with individuals both online and in my Folsom, CA office. I have extensive training and experience with couples and families as well, when that may be a complement to our one-on-one work.
Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes, though we can arrange for longer sessions at a pro-rated amount as needed. Longer intensives for deeper healing work can also be scheduled at a pro-rated amount.
Rate:
$200/session (50-55 minutes)
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Services
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is composed of three types of sessions: preparation, dosing, and integration. Preparation and integration sessions are billed with the same structure and rate as my counseling and psychotherapy sessions (see above).
Dosing sessions are scheduled for 2-3 hour blocks and are billed at a flat rate of $400 per session.
Many clients will complete one complete KAP round of 6-8 sessions, with a dosing session approximately every 2 weeks, but the total number of dosing sessions may be more or fewer, depending upon your needs and psychiatrist recommendation. An integration session must take place within a week (ideally within 72 hours) following the dosing session.
Please note: your psychiatry appointments and prescription costs associated with KAP are billed separately by another provider and are not included in this rate. The psychiatry appointment with medication for 2 dosing sessions through my partner organization, Journey Clinical, is currently $335. The follow-up appointment along with 6 additional doses of medication is currently $295. Journey Clinical is in-network with Aetna and will submit these claims for Aetna customers. If you are interested in learning more or participating in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, please discuss this with me and I will forward suitable referrals to the psychiatry team for a formal intake and assessment.

Good Faith Estimate Notice:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
